Linda Stanton My grandmother, mother and favorite aunt have been the inspirational women who helped me gain a love for exploration and creating many things, through sewing, painting, basket and gift basket making. All were to keep me busy and out of trouble while growing up, starting about age 5. It was much better to create the Barbie dollhouse from a shoe box than to wrangle with the bulls behind the farmhouse while chasing the dog! Through the years, many areas of artwork have interested me, some self-taught, some taken through classes to the level of teaching. As an occupational therapist and certified hand therapy specialist for many years, art has been utilized to help my patients regain skills they had lost due to injuries, which has been a joy to watch. It has been a relaxation for me as well as a challenge to keep learning new skills. I currently enjoy photography and painting in several mediums. New items will be added as they are created.
